How can a leader with imposter syndrome work on reframing negative self-perceptions and combat perfectionism while still performing their role?
Perfectionism will paralyze you, and this mindset will just disappoint. Nothing in life is perfect. Live life day by day and in the present and open to change. The most successful leaders and companies are able to pivot quickly and be innovative. Have an MVP (minimum viable product) mindset: fail early and pivot swiftly to minimize risks.

Hiring more diverse candidates sounds simple enough, but even when organizations take specific measures to do so, their efforts sometimes fail. What is one thing companies can do to increase the number of diverse applicants seeking jobs with them so that they can improve DEI within their organizations in a meaningful way?
Diverse candidates of all types want to join companies that not only hire diverse candidates but live and breathe it day to day. Where companies fail is in how they support DEI efforts throughout the organization and reflected within the actual culture. It is necessary to offer awareness training for all and establish meaningful efforts across all departments and within pre-established processes.

As more and more baby boomers retire, what can companies do to ensure that the current bench strength, knowledge base and brain trust of senior employees and leadership will be replenished with top upcoming talent?
Retirement gives companies huge opportunities to promote from within and enhance career growth for lower-level employees. Companies should ensure there are transition plans in place early and those retiring need to coach and mentor during this time. New leaders need management training, as well. Many companies forget this major piece which leads to high turn-over rates under these new managers.
